Thanks for visiting my blog and comments. This blog is create because one of our assignment our teacher gave last year. We were told to create a blog and post on every lesson we had for literature. Term 3 Week 10

Monday (30 August 2010):

Today was our full dress rehearsal, but none of our class brought the costumes and props. For my group, we were not inform by our leader about it. As a result, the whole class was scolded. And we was the first year and the only class that didn't bring anything for the full dress rehearsal. Beside that, my group was the only group who take the script into the rehearsal. I felt really sad for my group. Some of our group members didn't take the initiative to even memorise a little. I think we should learned about taking responsible as a actor, wardrobe, set decorator and most importantly director who lead the whole group.

Thursday (2 September 2010):
Today is the last literature lesson of term 3. Today we got back our teat paper. I failed. Mr Chua go through with us the paper quickly and proceed to the next part of the lesson. He let us watched the Romeo and Juliet movie. He wanted to showed us the backdrop, costume, music, and the way they act. I think my group have to put more effort on the acting.

My thoughts for my literature group:
I think my group have to put more effort on it, and hope that my group member will take the initiative to memorise their script and will make time to meet up on the September holidays.





Term 3 Week 9


Monday (23 August 2010):
Today was our literature class test on Are You Lonesome Tonight. To me the test was quite easy but I didn't know how to do much as I didn't remember the spelling and never read into it when revising.


Thursday (26 August 2010):

Today Mr Chua gave us a worksheet on a picture as shown above and some question printed at the back. A vulture was at the there waiting for the girl crawling to the food aid corner to died for hunger.

In my opinion, I think no only the girl in afica facing staving problem. We should cherish food we have now, by not wasting it. We are lucky to be a singaporeans. We have enough food, water, education and so on. We should cherish them.

Beside that, we should also help the people in the third world country that is facing famine, by donating for example.





Term 3 Week 8

Monday (16 August 2010):
Today, we didn't do much except for the worksheet he distrubuted when he came in with Mr Naz, and went out of the class, left our class and Mr. Naz.


Thursday (19 August 2010):

Today beginning lesson teach us about honesty as some of our classmate copy each other work and even photo copy. After starting off with a scolding, Mr Chua go through with us the worksheet on Are You Lonesome Tonight Worksheet 2. Then, He gave us a worksheet as homework due to the time shortage. I have learned about honesty is the best policy.



Term 3 Week 7

Thursday(12 August 2010):
Today was our first Literature play rehearsal. We went to CEPP corner to have our rehearsal. wardrobe and set derocration people were asked to write down the good and bad point of the actors. To me, I think my group have to put more feeling and action on the play and have to project their voice out loud.





Term 3 Week 6

Monday (2 August 2010):
Today we didn't do any of the literature text, instead we do worksheets. Mr Chua gave us some worksheets. First worksheet, which is the anti-drugs worksheet. We were asked to read on ourselves and read to the whole class if being called afterwards. After this worksheet, Mr Chua gave us a piece of worksheet on writing a reply letter to the lonesome guy as homework. He then gave us the worksheet we do as homework back for correction. After all, he review our learning log marks. I'm am one of them who didn't finish the learning log. I think I couldn't have time because there alot for things in the computer that can make me easier distracted.


Thursday (5 August 2010):
Today Mr Chua started with a new story, The mightly mandarin. Mr chua gave us a role for every row, and my row got Min, which start her lines at the back. The role fu, wu, li, ching, chang, and chung, sung are the ones who have to keep standing up and sitting down. I think literature can bring us fun sometimes.



Term 3 Week 5

Monday (26 July 2010) :
Today we have our usual lesson on the last period of the day and that is Literature. Today literature is quite relaxing. We started of with a scolding on all the ones that didn't pass up their literature homework. Thats lasted for around 10 min. After that, Mr Chua returned us our 1st homework we did in term 3, and that is the theatric production worksheet. We used up 20 min on going through the worksheet. Then we proceed on videos. Mr Chua let us watch the play that was held last year, by our last year Secondary 2. To me, I think that voice of their is very soft. I can't really hear their voice, especially for the MOV. But overall i think quite well as I don't really think that memorising the dialouge is easy and they didn't have a very long time to prepare like us.

Thursdays (29 July 2010) :
Since we have already finish Sence 2, we have our quiz as usual. After the quiz, we proceed on to Scene 3, this time we move back to older presley and Redhead. Actually I don't really like Older Presley in the sense that he don't cherish anyone that is beside him compared to younger presley. In Scene 3, Redhead came back and Older Presley seemed to be really sad and going crazy soon. Sometimes I pity him as he seemed to look pitiful compare to younger presley and other people.
